Jack looked a little confused for a moment and laughed a little when she explained. "There was me thinking she was just making assumptions." He smiled, if they had known him they would never have believed it, he hadn't had a 'girlfriend' since he was about 14 and even that didn't really count, he couldn't stick with one person long enough to class them his girlfriend.
He opened his mouth to say something when the door opened again and his father walked in, he looked more annoyed than concerned and didn't even acknowledge that Siena was there "I just had to come out of a huge meeting for this. Whats the damage? He said bluntly to his son. "The way that girl made it sound it was like you were on the brink of death or something. It was like he was annoyed his son wasn't hurt more to make it worth his rush over there.
Jack just shook his head and folded his arms "Well I'm alright you can go back to your busy life now, father. Sorry for the inconvenience." There was slight attitude in it but it was like he actually meant that he was sorry. Like a proper apology for something that was hardly his fault.

siena stayed quiet. she didn't think she made it sound that awful. all she had said was that jack had been hit by a car and was being taken to the hospital. now she felt awful. however, they way he was treating his son made her very angry. she'd seen jack's father before. her father struck business deals with the sinclair's every now and again.
"hello, sir," siena said with a smile and stuck her hand out. "i'm siena montgomery. i believe you know my father, nathaniel." she said with a coy smile. even if her father wasn't around she was his little girl and if he heard that mr. sinclair was mean to his baby their business relationship would be over. she'd hope maybe now he might shape up. though siena was a sweetheart and hated conflict, she would fight for people she loved, and she would play dirty.

Jack was a little surprised when Siena spoke to his father, the man was looking for a quick escape and apparently she wasn't going to let him get away that easily to both the Sinclair's annoyance. Their relationship had always been strained and they had always just kept their distance since Jack's mother passes, not that they had much of a relationship before that but it hardly helped.
Jason met Siena's hand and shook it gently pushing a small smile to his usually hard face. "It's a pleasure to meet you, your fathers always talking about his kids and its nice to put a face to the name." Jason had no probelm being nice to anyone else, he was a true gentle man and he knew how to hold a conversation. He was a buisiness man after all. It was just Jack he couldn't seem to fatham manners for.

siena smirked a little and shook his head back. at least he knew her father was a family man. now time for the hurt. she didn't know why she was defending jack. he was stupid and arrogant and a pig, but her heart always seemed to want him. the heart wants what the heart wants, as her mother always said. "yes, i cant wait to tell daddy i met you. and how i met you. jack being in the hospital. you storming in and complaining about how you had to leave a meeting even though you son got hit by a car, you bitching about how he wasn't hurt enough for you." she said, her cruel side coming out for the first time in a while. she didn't like being mean, but jack wasn't going to get through to his father. a threat to his business would have to work. "now, daddy wouldn't like that very much. so how about you leave, think about what you said, and get a lesson on being a father." she snapped and then gave him a sickly sweet smile. she turned to jack and held his hand again. then she turned around forgetting to say something. "oh, it was a pleasure meeting you, sir." she said with a smile. yes, she was her father's daughter. sweet always, and mean when necessary.

Jack sat silently a little baffled, the way him and his father were was just the norm to him. He wasn't naive enough to think that most fathers had that same relationship with one another but this was the Sinclairs, they weren't most families. Jack had always acted like he hated his father, like he didn't care but secretly he was always striving to get the mans approval, he had even decided to study law at college like his father even thought he hated the idea of becoming a Lawyer, how boring. Still the man hadn't been impressed though. He'd hardly said a word.
Jason was also stood struck but a stunned silence for a while. He wanted to fight back with all his power but he knew that wasn't going to help anything but his pride which he had had to learn to ignore, him and Jack had a lot in common and the pride thing was a big one but pride wasn't the important thing when it came to business, sometimes you had to swallow it even if it nearly choked you. "Yes, nice meeting you too, Miss" He said trying to hide his bitterness "Call me when your being let out and pick you up Jack" He said and with that he walked out. Though even that would be seen as improvment, he usually would just send someone to get him or expect Jack to just call a taxi.
Jack turned to look at Siena once his father was gone and sighed. "You didn't have to do that" he told her, part of him wished she hadn't because it would open a whole can of worms now, and it wasn't a can Jack really wanted to go into. It was easy how it was with his dad now, and easy was always better if you asked Jack.

siena looked back at jack a little confused. in her mind, that had to be done. jason was his father, and as far as she knew they were the only ones they had left. her family had her issues too, of course, but at least she knew her father loved her even if he was never around.
"yes i did." she said, still looking a little confused. "that's not... right. i've met him before, he's one of dad's lawyer. he'd always seemed so nice. your his son, it's not okay that he treat you like that." she said, giving his hand a little squeeze before letting it go. she fluffed his pillow and smiled at him.
"do you need anything?" she asked and took her cell phone to text her "house hand". they hardly ever made him do anything. she and kendall normally didn everything themselves. all he ever did was mow the lawn twice a week and make sure the pool was clean.

"Maybe its not right in your little world but im not exactly the nicest son to my dad anyway. Its just different with us." He said in both hsi and his fathers defense. "What we do works, just leave it alright. Business and family aren't the same, he has to be nice with his clients and their familys." He finished and sighed seemed like a better idea to just change subject cause he knew she wasn't going to let this go.
Jack shook his head "Nah I think I'm alright thanks I'm sure I'll be out soon, its only a broken leg." He shrugged, then he remembered how hungry he had been before the whole accident. "Actually I could kill for a McDonalds..." He said and just on cue his stomach rumbled.

siena's nose wrinkled up a little when he said mcdonalds. that place was so bad for a person. she pushed a smile on her face and texted harry, but instead of mcdonalds told him to make a fresh double bacon cheeseburger with fries and a coke and that she wanted a spring roll with a sparkling water. she was a health freak ever since her mother's death.
"i'm sorry, i didn't mean to get in the middle of you and your father. i just got upset." she said with a sad face, hoping he'd forgive her. normally she didn't get too much into people's business, but jason made her so angry.
about thirty minutes after she'd sent the text harry showed up with a bag of food. siena smiled and took everything from him and set it at the foot of jack's hosptial bed.
"thank you so much," she said with a smile and gave harry a kiss on the cheek before he left. she took out the food harry had made for jack and set it on the table in front of him.
"hope that's okay." she said with an unsure look. harry was an amazing cook so it probably was better than mcdonalds would ever be.

"Whats that face for? How can you not like McDonalds?" Jack wasn't dead set on having a McDonalds it was just the first thing to come to mind. But he still couldn't understand who you couldn't like it. IT was amazing, there was no other way to put it. But any food would have really done at that point and he would but hungry in half an hour if he did have a what he asked for.
Jack shrugged, he wasn't going to start and argument over this, if father wasn't worth it and last time he got into an argument with her it had landed him in hospital, maybe they could just have a civilised stream of conversations for at least the rest of the day."It's alright, I know your just trying to help but i think things with me and him are beyond that now." He said not sounding all that phased. He'd king of given up on getting much of anything between him and his father now. He'd had a life time of let down and he was done trying.
He took the food and nodded and thanks to the man that dropped the food off, it smelt amazing, he wasn't going to lie. He took a bite and smiled "It's more than alright" He said looking impressed. It was just that good. "Listen, thanks for all this, I'm glad your here." He was honestly glad to have her there, even if she was meddlin with family afairs and it wasn't just because food was great either. He was just glad to have her around.

even if siena hadn't been the reason jack had gotten hit, she still would have been there. jack just made her feel things she was afraid to feel. she liked him, a lot. but she knew they could never be. she dated the bad boy type. her time with sampson was heaven and hell, but mostly hell. getting calls at two in the morning for her to bail him out of jail was hardly the relationship she wanted. then again, sampson and jack were different kinds of bad. sampson, you'd find him in jail when he was supposed to be out with you. jack, you'd find him in bed with another girl when he was supposed to be with you. neither one fit her. she needed stability. someone she could introduce to her father. someone that her mother would have said was a keeper.
"where else would i be?" she said softly with a smile, looking at jack. she knew this was a bad idea. jack was a charmer. that how he'd gotten so many girls in bed so fast. he could make anyone fall for him within a day. however, it did take her a while to fall for him. she hated him at first. eventually, little bits at a time, she'd see a glimmer of a good guy. that was the guy she'd fallen for. not the charming one night stand guy that he 99% of the time was.
once siena felt the butterflies go off, she immediately let go of his hand and sat down in the car beside his bed. she didn't want another awkward, long gazing moment. she couldn't fall for jack dominic sinclair. she simply would not allow it.
"oh, the doctors said you have to stay here for twenty-four hours, because you have a concussion and you have to stay awake, and your daddy is a big man and the hospital is watching their arse." she said, hoping he'd take kindly to the news. she hated hospitals, personally. sick people made her queezy and needles freaked her out. but she'd stay the whole time jack was here. she wouldn't want to be all alone if she were in a hospital.
"is there anyone else you need me to call?" she asked as she flipped through the tv channels, trying to find something jack would like.

Jack had nothing in common with Siena, especially when it came to emotions and feelings, it wasn't just that Jack surpressed his behind a wall of arrogance and just down right pig headedness. Jack had this amazing ability of ignoring his feelings, hell he didn't even notice them when they hit him square in the face. Which was why he wouldn't fall for anyone easily, he missed all of the signs and just pretended that any he did notice just didn't exsist. Jake hadn't fallen for Siena the way she had fallen for him because he was just incapable of falling for anyone, no matter how right or wrong she was for him. Jack could tell that there was something different about Siena, he wouldn't admit it but deep down he could tell there was something.
Jack shrugged "I dunno, maybe at home hiding from me?" He teased with a small smile. It was bad enough that he was going to be stuck there all night but he wouldn't want to drag her down with him on his boring night of not going out, at least his liver was thankful for a night off.
Jack was like a bipolar, he was this sleeze when it came to a night out and when he was out with girls but when he was with his friends he was totally different, most of the time anyway, he was still a bit of a jerk but you could tell he cared about them in his own messed up way.
He sighed when she said he was staying the night, he had kind of though it might be the case but he had guessed, if something bad happened to him, as much as he dad acted like he didn't care, bad things would happen to the hospital and the doctors in it if his son got bad treatment. And at least Jack knew he was getting go care? He was trying to look on the bright side of things for a change. And he had Siena here to keep him company, it couldn't be that bad.
Jack thought and shook his head "I'll text Damien but thats it" He said as he pulled his phone out of his pocket and typed out out a quick message almost in cave man talk, "Dude, got hit by car, in hospital, broken leg, concussion, with Siena, shitty day." that was it, he didn't need to say much more, he knew the thing Damien would be most worried about was what Jack was, his sports. "So what the hell can we do until I get out of this hell hole?" He said putting his phone on the side.

"anything you want," siena said as she kept switching through the channels. not many people knew a lot about siena, she tried to keep her life private. so many didn't know who exactly her father was, a very powerful man. being a large beneficiary to the hospital, she could make these people dance the funky chicken if she wanted. of course, she didn't really like that fact. she didn't like using her name to make people do things for her, and she only did it on a rare occasion.
the tv seemed to only have a couple channels, but she knew the hospital did have cable for select patients. she set the remote down and stood up, but slipped on jack's blanket that was hanging on the ground, and fell right on him, but managed to catch herself before she actually hit him. the only thing was her face was only a couple inches from him.
"i am so sorry, are you okay?" she asked and looked at him realizing how close they were.

"Well, I want to go home, but I can't so don't lie to me, I can't do anything I want" Jack smirked pedandically. He knew how to rub her the wrong way without actually pissing her off. Well sometimes he did take a little far even if he didn't mean to but he doubted that was even close to enough.
His eyes scanned the TV with a bored look he was about to say something when she tumbled ontop of him, their eyes locked again but it was a little worse than before, they weren't as close last time for a start, it also didn't seem as intense the time before either. Jack went into auto pilot, his body took over his head for one brief moment and moved the short space that was between their lips and kissed her.
What was he doing?!?! This was Siena, he wasn't aloud to do that. Why did he want to do that, she was his friend, she was the little sister of everyone in the group, she was, well she was Siena, that was enough said but he still didn't pull away.
Just on cue the door swung open and the nurse walked in, or she got to the door way before she stopped in the doorway "Oh, sorry I'll come back in a minute" She said awkwardly.

when jack's lips touched siena's she forgot about everything. she wasn't sad about abby. everything just seemed like it'd be okay. it just seemed right. however, when the nurse walked in siena snapped into reality and pulled away quickly, her face turning as red as a tomato.
"no, it's uhm, do what you need to." siena said quickly and walked over to the other side of the room with her food and sat on the couch. that was an awful thing that just happened.
"and can you fix the tv?" she said. the nurse seemed to be enjoying it all too much. after she made sure jack was okay she turned the tv on to cable and left the room, giggling none the less.

As wrong as he knew it was, that kiss had felt too good. He knew it was wrong. He didn't know what had come over him but it definatly wasn't a smart or rational thing that was for sure. He sat there awkwardly as the nurse checked things over and fixed the TV, part of him wished she would stay because once she left the thick awkwardness in the air would get even worse. Still he couldn't come up with anything to make her stay. He sat in silence until she left and then afterwards to. What was he meant to say. "Sorry, I don't... I think that hit to the heads done more damage than we thought" He thought maybe humor might save him, it couldn't make things more awkward, he was sure they were at the worst they could be on that department.
