He stormed after her as she walked away and stood in front of her so she couldnt carry on walking. She wasn't getting out of this that quick, she must have know that. "I care enought to have cut back, but does it really seem like the greatest time to quit? Have I not got enough to stress me out already? One of my best friends has disapered into thin air but even fucking better they think it was me that took her?!" He growled just letting it go now, he'd stayed cool the whole time he'd been getting the accusations but it wasn't as easy to keep his straigh hard face when it came to Siena and he hated it. "If you ask me, I think I deserve the odd cigarette every now and then."

siena jumped a little when he snapped. she didn't think her taking his cigarette would cause that much to come out. she hadn't meant to upset him like that at all. he must have known that. siena would crawl under a rock before fighting. "hey," she said softly and took his big strong hands in her soft petit ones. "i know you didn't do anything to abby." she said looking him straight in the eyes. jack was a little unorthodox but he'd never hurt abby.
she hadn't talked much about how she felt since the disappearance. she'd talked about abby, but just facts, nothing more.
"i miss her too." she said quietly, tears forming in her eyes. "she was like a sister to me. i was a freshman with glasses and braces, you all were the cool sophomores that everyone loved. out of everyone in this town she decided to be my friend. she took me under her wing when she didn't have to. introduced me to damien and tiff and you, she introduced to my best friends. i've been locked up in my house cause i don't know who i am without abby. i feel lost and helpless and i hate it more than anything cause i know it's not what she'd want, but i don't know what to do." she said quietly, avoiding looking at jack as tears fell down her face.
"i've been avoiding you cause you remind me of abby. the water balloon fight we had in the school. you all crawling into my bedroom window to see me when i was grounded." siena stopped talking for a moment and started full out crying and sat down on the beach. she didn't know what to do now. she was all out in the open.

Jack had let out his troubles over everything with Abby in the only way he knew how, in anger, it was the only real way you got anything true out of Jack cause it was the only time he couldn't contol that shell he kept his feelings lock away in. Anger was the one thing Jack was good at dealing with, tears on the other hand, they got him into a right cofuffal, he never knew what to do, he was the one that you came to forget the things that made you cry not the on with the shoulder to cry on, simply because emotions were really not his strong point.
It meant a lot to hear her say she knew he didn't hurt Abby, he'd never laid a finger on a girl and he loved Abby like a little sister, what reason could he have had to hurt her or take her? It made no sense why he was one of the suspects but no matter what he said it didn't change most peoples minds.
When she sat and cried Jack froze for a second with a lack of comforting things to say and no real idea what to do he just sat next to her and put his arm around her and pulled her in so she was crying into his shoulder without saying a word, he knew anything he said would just come out wrong and make things worse, staying silent seemed like the safest option.

siena sat there and cuddled up next to jack. it was weird and perfect and awful. they'd never been extremely close. siena was the little one in the group, abby treated her like a sister and definitely never let jack get too close to her. though abby loved jack she still didn't trust him with her. siena was niave and abby knew that.
after a good fifteen minutes of crying siena calmed down slowly. she hated crying. she wasn't a crier. she much preferred to smile and be happy. so she moved her head a little and realized she'd gotten makeup on his shirt.
"i'm sorry." she sniffled and tried wiping it off, but it didn't work all too well. she looked up at him and her heart skipped a beat and started racing as butterflies erupted in her stomach.

Jack just let her cry and held her, she didn't seam to be complaning that he wasn't talking so he figured it was working well enough to keep it like that until she broke the silence. It felt odd to hold Siena in his arm, like he was breaking the rules, Abby didn't like Jack being alone with Siena, she knew him too well and he knew exactly why. He'd like to think he would never hurt Siena but he didn't think he was capable not to. It was like he couldn't help but be a jerk to every girl he got involved with no matter how much he liked her. He always sent ever relation he had into the ground in one way or another.
He was glad when she finally stopped crying though because the longer she cried the longer he couldn't talk and the more time he had to think. Thinking wasn't really a good idea for him. not in this perdicament. But he wasn't thinking about Abby, not directly anyway, he was thinking about how he shouldn't be doing this, he'd heard Siena had a thing for him and the way she blushed every now and again made him pretty sure what he heard weren't just rumors. It just didn't seem like a clever thing to let himself get close to her, not like this. Because he knew he couldn't help himself.
He looked down at his shoulder when she apologised and laughed "It's fine, its only my running stuff anyway." He smiled trying to take the mood to a lighter one, the longer he stayed in this sad one the weirder he would have felt. Their eyes locked for a moment and it was painful to have to pull away but he made himself do it. "Come on" he said as he got to his feet but took her hand to pull her up to "Lets do something, sitting here moping isn't helping anyone He wasn't sure what they could do but if they were moving and not sitting around then it was harder for them to be that close again and there was less chance of an awkward stare happening again.

"okay," siena said and got up, then looked down at herself. she'd need to go home and change if she was going to go anywhere. normally she was more covered up then this, but it was a bathing suit abby had gotten her.
"uhm, can we stop at my house first?" she asked and headed to her car. she hoped jack didn't mined her driving.

Jack had been trying not to notice how little clothing she was wearing. It wasn't easy, in fact it was near impossible. He'd never failed to noice she was hot, maybe she wasn't so hot when she was a freshman but she had definatly grown up to be more than gorgouse. He nodded and followed her to her car, it did bug him a little, he hated being driven anywhere, he loved driving and wasn't good at being the passenger, especially a girls passenger. "Where'd you wanna go though?" He was open to pretty much anything as long as it kept them busy.

c a r "i don't care really. you pick." siena said with a smile and got into her car. she looked up where they'd been and saw jack's dog just laying there.
"is he okay?" she asked, watching him with her head cocked to the side. she'd always wanted a dog, but her father hated animals, she never even had a fish. so she didn't mind having a dog in her car.

Milo had just fallen asleep on the beach otherwise he would have followed the two right to the car. He was such a dope. Jack looked back to the beach and rolled his eyes, he rose his fingers to his lips and whistled. The dog looked up confused looking around like he still expected his owner to be there "Come here boy!" Jack shouted and the off loped over "I could walk him home if you want and meet you if you dont want a dog in the car" As much as Jack loved his dog there was no way in hell he would ever set foot in Jack's car. Ever.

"oh no, it's perfectly fine." siena said with a smile. she didn't mind the dog, he was adorable.
"you just gotta tell me how to get to your new place." she said with a short smile and waited for the dog to get into the car before starting it up. she knew this night was going to end badly probably. they'd never been alone. abby was always there, or damien or tiff. it was just them now and she could feel the awkward tension.

siena looked down at her bare midsection and bit her lip. she wasn't one to flaunt herself around, and her ribs were visible. she'd lost about twenty pounds since abby went missing making her a while 98lbs at that time and she hated the way she looked.
"uhm, sure," she said reaching in the back for a pair of shorts in her bag. she slipped them on really quick and followed him, crossing her arms to cover what she could of herself.

He lead her up to his loft and swung the door open, Milo went in first brushing past them both to get his place on the arm chair. "Do you wanna just look around while I get changed?" with that he slipped into hus room to change into a pair of light jeans and a casual top and came back out into the main living room. "Did you check out upstairs?" He asked, the roof was his favorite part of his place. .

siena waited near the door, not wanting to snoop around. she was uncomfortable. she didn't have a shirt on and was in a place she'd never been before. so she stood there and waited.
"no," she said quietly and shook her head with a smile. jack was the exact opposite of her. he pushed her to do things she'd never do normally. she was a quiet reserved girl. she didn't fit in with their group of friends, but everyone was still nice to her; well everyone except tiff. then again tiff was mean to everyone. she wondered why damien and jack still talked to her without abby around.

Jack was so far from being reserved it was rediculous, he had toned down a bit now he had finished school. Back in Junior year he had been at his worst there was a bet that made he steak through the hall ways in nothing but a wacky hat. And scarily that wasnt even the worst. "Come check it out then we'll go to yours. You don't have to be so awkward though, I'm not a perve" He said as he walked away from her towards the steps. He could just tell she was kind of freaking about wearing no shirt.
He took her up to the roof, quickly shower her around then led the waqy down the stairs and then to the door since she seemed in such a hurry to get changed.
