siena was trying to be around people more. ever since abby went missing she'd closed off everyone. she'd been so depressed. abby wouldn't have wanted that for her. so she packed up her things and headed to the beach, hoping she'd see some of her friends, but none were there. she sighed sadly and sat down in a chair, looking out at the clear blue water. she and abby used to come here and play volleyball for hours and write things in the sand. on occasion she, abby, damien, and jack would come here and try to surf. siena was the only one that could never seem to get it right.
it broke her heart thinking about abby. the memories were like venom, slowly killing her from the inside. she walked over to the waters edge and knealed down, writing i miss you in the sand.

Jack's way of dealing with things was a little different than most peoples and it wasnt much different when it came to dealing with Abby's disapearance. Unlike everyone else from their little circle he didn't seem to show that he missed her, that he was worried he'd never see her again, that their little group of friends wouldn't be the same anymore now she was gone and that she was probably never going to come back. He was the hard faced one, he kept his guard up and showing any of these things, in his mind, made him seem weak and more importantly, vunerable. So instead he tried to be the rock for the others, the solid one that could handle it.
It did get to him though, of course it did, he wasn't heartless, Abby was one of his closest friends, and the longer Abigail was missing the harder it was to act like he was fine. When it got too much Jack went running, it was the one thing that always cleared his head, it was when he could think properly. He hadn't long got back from a talk with Tiffany when he felt he needed to get the whole conversation out of his system. Pulling on his running gear he set out with Milo at his side.
He wasnt too far down the beach when he bumped into someone he really hadn't seen much of since Abbigail disapeared. The only real contact he'd had with Siena was the odd text making sure she was still alive. He slowed to walk as he came close "Siena, hey!" He said with a small smile.

siena jumped a little and looked up to see jack. she hadn't talked to him much since abby went missing. on occasion she'd get a text from him but that was it. she'd been avoiding everyone. she wasn't ready to deal with people yet.
"hey jacky," she said with a smile and went to stand up but tumbled over. she was fairly clumsy, running into doors and falling over. she was used to it by now.
she'd been avoiding jack too. his face was a reminder of abby as well. she'd met jack through abby. truth be told, siena had fallen for jack a long time ago but never said anything to anyone, not even abby. she missed seeing his face. she flat out missed him.

Jack rolled his eyes a little, both at the fact that she had called him Jacky, which he hated with a passion, not that it stopped her, and at her falling over, he held in a laugh hidden by a small smirk and reached a hand out to help her up. Jerk he was but a polite, gentlemanly one when he wanted to be. "Nice to see that turning into a hermit hasn't effect you balance" He teased sarcastically. Some could have taken Jack's humor the wrong way but since Siena and him had been close for so long he was sure she knew not to take it to heart by now. "How are you anyway? We've missed you recently" He said the we rather than just singling himself out as just him missing her, not that he hadn't it was just how he was. Slightly withheld with his feelings, even his closest of friends.

Hermit she definitely had become. She couldn't help. She'd been so sad, all the time, She didn't wanna bring anyone else down with her, especially people she cared for.
She took the hand he offered and her face flushed red as she did.
"Oh, yeah, sorry, just had a lot of--- things to do." She lied poorly. She was an awful liar, always had been. She didn't like doing it but what was she supposed to say to him. I'm avoiding you because of your face? That would've caused some issues. Jack and Siena didn't always get along as it was. He knew how to push her buttons, and quickly.
"How've you been?" She asked, trying to change the subject.

One of Jack's eye brows raised as if to say 'Yeah sure you have' and usually he would have said it aloud but he decided to let it slip this time, he hadn't seen her for ages so he didn't really want to start a fight with her already. He even went along with her not so smooth change of subject "Yea I'm alright, just got myself a new place" He smiled, he was still debating whether to have a party or not, he thought it might be taken in bad taste, especially when so many people thought he had something to do with Abby going missing. With that though came another, he wondered if Siena thought the same and most people. That could have been why she had been avoidong him. "What you doing here anyway?" He asked as he snapped out of his thoughts before he looked like an idiot who had just shut off.

siena knew jack was a person of interest, as was damien and tiffany. she knew damien and jack wouldn't have done anything to abby. tiffany, she wasn't so sure about it. that girl had no heart at all.
"trying not to be a hermit," she said with a small laugh and looked up at him. her heart started pounding, she thought it was beating loud enough for jack to actually hear.
"figures the one day i decided to come out, no one is here." she said and shook her head, looking at the empty beach. it was the same as everything else. everything was just empty with abby gone.

Jack did hope that at least she didnt suspect him, pretty much everyone seemed to have their doubts of his innocence, well everyone but Damien even Tiff had been a little funny with him but he didn't totally trust that she hadn't done it either. He hated it, every one being on edge all the time, he couldnt go anywhere without having people give him evils or cross the road like he was some kind of monster. But whatever, he'd never really minded what people thought of him.
He laughed a little at her hermit comment, "Does that mean your going to be coming out of hibernation now an we'll actually get to see that pretty yet slightly misserable face a little more often? Or is it just a one off outing?" He said pushing the humor a little further this time, he'd never been all too good at being nice, but he had counter acted the insult with a compliment so he hoped she wouldn't flare up like she often did. He frowned at her next comment but still had a little smile on his lips "Oh so I'm nobody now am I?" he joked. He heard panting behind him and looked round to see that Milo had finally caught up. It was quite unfortunate for the poor, short legged dog that Jack had been the one to take him, he could never keep up when Jack ran but he still tried. "But yeah, Tiff was on her way shopping or something and I haven't heard off anyone else today." He shurgged.

"you might if you're lucky." siena said jokingly. she never had thought of herself as pretty, so she appreciated him saying that she was.
"i didn't mean you were nobody." she said and bumped into him lightly. she missed him a lot and was glad he showed up. a lot had happened, and for some reason, he made her feel like everything was going to be okay.

Acting like everything was fine and dandy was on of Jack's skills, he was a good liar and he was good and putting on a hard face so he was pretty good when you wanted to just sort of forget about everything else and just pretend things were at least a little normal. "well I bloody hope so, there's only so much Tiffany I can take before she pisses me off." He smiled, he'd always prefered the company of Siena over Tiffany but that wasn't dificult, even with their disagrements Siena was just easier for Jack to be around.
He laughed when she nudged him "Don't start you" He said and lightly pushed her shoulder barely enough to move it never mind to push even her over with her clumbsy way. He sighed and reached into his pocket and pulled out a cigarette and sliped it into his mouth and rumaged for his lighter just waiting for a lecture on how it was bad for him.

"uhm no," siena said and took the cigarette out of his mouth then ripped it in half. she cared for jack, she didn't want him getting cancer. yeah, she knew it would spark a fight but his health was more important.
"you shouldnt smoke." she said bluntly and looked up at him. he was a great deal bigger than her, so she always had to look up, she didn't like it.

Jack scowled when she took the smoke from his lips and took his hands from his pocket and folded them across his chest as he watched her break his nocotine stick in half. "And you shouldn't take them off me. Give me a break" He grumbled debating whether to dig into his pocket and get another but he knew she'd just do the same. "I've cut back what more can you ask for? It's not like you know what its like" He argued, he was having his cigarette whether she liked it or not, he's just rather have it without having to keep pulling away from her trying to take it off him. Small as she was she was still a pain in the ass when it came to that point.

"you're right i dont, because i'm not stupid enough to start smoking, jack." siena said before she could stop herself. she hadn't meant to insult him, it just kind of happened. he just frustrated her so much. she cared about him and he didn't realize it, and it just made things hard. why else would she always be on his case?
"i'm sorry, i didn't mean to say that." she said apologeticly, knowing he wouldnt accept that.

Was she kidding? First she deprives him of his smoke and then she calls him stupid, and the way she just spat it out said to Jack that she really did mean that, when you just blurted things out it just came straight from the heart, like you hadn't proof read the though before you voiced it but it was definatly not something you didn't mean, just maybe something you didn't want to say outloud. "Don't lie, you did mean it. There's worse things I could be doing, don't give me the bul shit about it being bad for me, causes cancer bla bla bla, I know, did you ever think I just don't care?" he was trying to keep a lid on his anger and not shout but he was deffinatly straining. He had a habit of just losing it, especially with Siena, she get him wound up like a jack-in-a-box quicker than almost anyone else.

"well maybe you should care." siena snapped and started walking away. she didn't want to start a fight, she hated fights, even with jack, though she knew walking away probably wasn't going to be a choice at the moment.
