[/i][/color] she thought to herself as she moved to do so. Walking to the bookshelf she grabbed one of the acoustic guitars that sat on a stand beside it. There were two other guitars there, a bass and an electric one. Both had been gifts from the Hollows. The acoustic guitar had been her father’s and it was now hers. A small tear fell down her cheek as she remembered her parents, who had died when she was only nine. Wiping it away she carried the guitar to the bed. Leaning down she grabbed a notebook and pen from underneath the bed. But she wasn’t in the mood to write anything. Instead she grabbed some sheet music and began playing one Bubbly by Colbie Caillat. (this is gonna be short, i am exhausted lol)
The Hollows have been through hell, their littlest girl had gone missing and Chase Jackson was in charge of the case, he had been working day and night, and nothing. Nothing but a bottle of lipstick that he needed to get results from DNA.
Walking up the massive steps of the Hollows mansion, Chase balled a fist and rapped on the door a few times. A butler opened and he smiled at him. Chase had called a head of time and he didn't know if anyone remembered him calling.
Walking through the house he saw the library that the butler told him to wait in for Caroline Hollows.

[/b][/color] she called, tilting her head to the side and racking her brain, trying to figure out who would need her now. Instead the butler came in and she let a warm smile play on her lips. “The detective is here to see you now Miss," he said. “He’s waiting in the library.” The butler then turned and left, closing the door behind him again. A puzzled expression came onto her face and she tried to fight back her emotions. She didn’t need to be questioned again, she was innocent, that’s all there was to it. What does he want? More and more questions floated into her mind but she pushed them aside and got up off the bed. Placing her guitar on its stand she walked out of her bedroom. Moving swiftly down the stairs she rounded on her heels and walked into the large library. Attempting a kind smile at the detective she waved a small and pathetic wave. “Detective, no one told me you were coming. Otherwise I would’ve changed,” she said in her sweetest voice. Anyone could tell it was an act. She didn’t care much for the detective; all he did was make their life even worse. There was also no point in trying to mask her mild dislike as he could probably already guess that was the case. “So, what did you want to ask me?” Looking up at him she leaned on the door frame and flicked her hair behind her. The detective looked at the young girl. Smiling he stopped playing with one of the books he was thumbing through and he looked at her. Pulling the lipstick bottle out of his pocket he held the bag that contained it by the end and he handed it to Caroline.
"Does this look familiar to you, I received it from a, third party, I have my suspicions on to whom it belongs too." Chase looked at the young lady and he smiled lightly. He wondered how many times he had been to this house. Too many. He needed to solve this murder. He didn't expect Caroline to know who the bottle belonged too. He just wanted to read her expressions.

Then, a sly grin crossed her face. “Perhaps if you tell me who you think it belongs to I may be able to help out,” her voice was almost sickly and she hated the way it sounded. But still, she needed the detective to trust her; she needed to know what was going on around the place. Caroline wanted to know what had happened to Abigail and she wanted Chase to tell her. Pushing up off the door frame she brought herself dangerously close to the detective. She shoved the bag into his hand and held his gaze, carefully. Her lips were dead straight and her eyes were cold and hard. She could feel his breath on her face and knew he could feel hers. Still, she remained looking up at him, her eyes burning through his skull. What do you know? Carrie thought, wishing she could read his mind.
