The Marriage Law was passed last night, rocking the United States and surely making a spot in history. The law has been put in place due to the severe death count of World War Three that ended last year. It is hoped that through this law, the USA will be quickly repopulated. The government has a new department purely to facilitate this change.
Everyone over the age of 18 is expected to fill out an application. Then, the Department of Marriage, will send you a letter with you potential match and his or her information. You are to meet this person and then decide if you would like to be wed or not within a 4 week period. After you inform the govt. of your decision, you will either plan your marriage or someone else will be picked for you to meet.
If you do not get married before one year passes, someone will be chosen as your spouse. Divorces will not be accepted for the next five years or until children are produced, whichever comes last, for new couples.
