Theodore let out a chuckle and smiled at her. "Well after you get out of this shit ass town what are you going to do? What are your dreams, aspirations?" What was she going to do know that she was out, free, her own woman again. She must had have something to keep her busy while on the inside, something to think of doing when she got out.
Richmond wasn't the world, what did she want to do out there somewhere. theodore wasn't sure she'd give him a straight answer, but it was worth asking.

Who could make it anywhere without a dream of some kind? For example, Theo was a journalist, like he wanted, and he wanted a family, which would happen when it happened. Sloan had to want something. But she was so closed off, and probably, broken.
"Well, I suppose that's it. You'll be notified when the article runs." Theo said getting up and shuffling his papers into his briefcase.

Theo chuckled and shook his head. "I don't want you to say something specific, i just want to know your truth." he said. Was it really so unbelievable that a man didn't have some political way he wanted to spin her story? Theo just wanted to learn how she thought.
"I just thought you'd have something set you wanted to do, something had to get you through the hell that must be juvy." Instead, she gave him vague one word answers. "Or something to say to the people reading."
