Sloan had just gotten to Richmond. She used to live here once upon a time but she hadn't been to the town in around 6 years. She didn't miss the place at all. This town was a bad memory. This was the place she'd beaten a girl into a coma. This was the place that everyone hated her. Still she didn't have anywhere to go anymore. Chase was her last hope. Still the first thing she had to do was meet her probation officer. She'd be with him til she was 21. It was not a fun idea.

Jesse had not been keen to the idea of being some punk ass girls probation officer but Chase thought it would be a good idea. Jesse had enough to worry about with the masked killer on the loose, plus he had his four year old son at home too. Today was the first day he was to meet her at the station, and he was running late as usual. He dropped off his son with Siena and made his way for coffee before heading to the station.
He arrived at the station checked his messages and went over a few other cases since he had time. Jesse was sitting at his desk the one Chase gave him most likely to keep a close eye on him. Jesse took the file that was placed on his desk and read it once more he saw the name and smiled so this girl was related to Chase so that was why he did not want to deal with her himself.

Sloan knew Chase had just handed her over to some other guy. Chase and she hadn't really seen eye to eye after the death of their mother. Plus, neither he nor their father ever visited her in juvy. So when she got out she changed her last name to her mother's maiden name, at first, then her uncle convinced her to simply hyphenate it, as to not burn any bridges.Needless to say it'd been years since she saw Chase.
She sighed, staring at the station house. She didn't really want to go in. So she turned around to leave, but ran into two officers that knew her face. Each one grabbed an arm, lifted her up, and carried her into the police station.
"Put me down!" Sloan exclaimed. They set her down right in front of some guys desk. He was rather handsome, still she wanted to tell him to go to hell and leave.

Jesse was reading a file when he heard a voice and saw a woman being carried in by two officers which made him smile. He shook his head then took in the woman in front of him she was rather young and from what he saw a delinquent. "I am Jesse Hollows and I will be you probation officer much too my dismay your brother tossed you out sort of speak. So Sloan you will come see me every three days to start off, if you don't show you will be tossed back in to a jail cell." Jesse could tell right away this girl was going to be another thorn in his handsome side.

Sloan sat on the guys desk. She didn't really have any sense of personal space, she'd never really cared. Being in juvy for five years you learn that personal space is a luxury.
"Hi, I'm Sloan MacAvoy and I don't really give a shit about what you say." She said with a smirk and picked up a picture he had on desk.
"Cute kid, he yours?" she asked. Yes, she came off as a heartless bitch but it was to protect herself. After getting let down so many times you learn the only person you really have is yourself.

Jesse cracked a smile when she spoke those words to him, he shouldn't smile but she came off as a bitch. "Well you should since i can very well put you there myself. Yes he is my son his name is Matthew." Jesse seemed drawn to Sloan maybe it was because she reminded him of himself at one point in his life which ended when Matthew was born. "So do you have a place to stay or a job lined up."
Jesse asked her with concern in his voice, she seemed to like his son just by the picture. "Look I have been in your shoes, you build up defenses and act all tough so you won't get hurt. Am I getting warm yet." Jesse knew kids like this he had seen some many in his years in new York and he always felt bad for them and tried to help them but all of them ended up dead. He decided to see what would happen in this case, " I know of a place that has quite a large guest room with its own bathroom that is if your interested."

"Nope and nope," Sloan said with a smile and a shrug. She hadn't talked to Chase about living with him yet. She didn't have anywhere else to go anymore. He was her last hope, and she didn't like those odds very much. He'd never been there for her before, why would he be now?
When people tried to relate to her it just flat out annoyed her. Everyone was different, no one can know what she personally went through. In fact, no one knew. She used to be the perfect daughter. Then she snapped. It was all a dirty dark secret that she'd never tell.
"I don't need your pity or charity. I can handle myself." She snapped quickly. Depending on someone else wasn't really something Sloan was fond of. She'd been able to carry herself for quite some time now, she wasn't going to change that now.

Jesse shook his head and just nodded, he guessed Chase has not talked to his sister in quite a while which would be why he had Jesse take on his sister. "I never said you couldn't take care of yourself, from what I can tell you have done well for yourself. It's not pity or charity Sloan, I am just saying if it comes down to it I know a place you can stay or you can try and see if Chase will take you in. Hey I am just offering you a place to live it is up to you if you want to take it." Jesse shrugged he honestly didn't give a rats ass if she took what he offered although he told himself it was a lie.

Sloan rolled her eyes. This guy was going to be a pain in her ass. She rarely showed up for probation meetings, she didn't follow curfew, she broke every rule that they gave her pretty much.
"I'll pass, but thanks." She said sarcastically and slide off his desk. If Chase didn't take her in then she'd have to go back to L.A. and live with her "boyfriend". She'd left in the middle of the night. She doubted he knew she was gone yet.

"That is fine. Lets get one thing straight here Sloan. I am not your boyfriend, I am not your brother, I did not ask for this nor do I want it. I am not your babysitter nor do I care what you do with your life as long as you show up for these meetings." Jesse spoke then stood up and walked over to stand in front of her. "I will how ever make one thing clear. I have no problem sticking your beautiful yet stubborn ass back in jail and believe me I am sure your brother would be happy to have you out of his life." Jesse hated being strict but sometimes it had to happen and now was one of those times. "So what is it going to be?"

Jesse just had to go with her family issues. If he hadn't gone there she wouldn't have really cared about what he'd said. However, her family issues were hers, and he had no right to bring them up.
"How about you go to hell," she said with a smile and crossed her arms. "Threatening won't work, trying to be a bitch won't work, how about you just do your damn job and stay out of my personal and family business." She snapped bitterly. She just wanted him to do his job and shut the hell up.

"Sorry no can do part of my job is to help you so for the next few weeks call this counciling, and you have no say in the matter." he smiled and smirked. "You can call me what ever you want and you can tell me to go where ever. I am here to stay and there is nothing you can do about it. Now I can actually use your help with another case. Which if you help me I will count it as your probation."
he hoped this intrigued her more because quite frankly he was getting no where himself and he could use the help and a clean pair of eyes. "There is a masked killer in town, the same one who kidnapped and killed my sister. The cops have no leads well until the other day when the killer gave your brother a tube of red lipstick I believe he was or rather is trying to frame someone else for the murder, so if you help me solve this case I will have your file expunged."

Sloan laughed a little and shook her head. There was no way she was risking her life for some girl she didn't know. She'd had enough near death experiences in her life to last the rest of her life.
"No way in hell, that's your job, not mine." She said, shaking her head.

Jesse looked at Sloan and shook his head " They you can enjoy your first night in a jail cell sweetie. " He spoke then had one of the officers who brought her in to handcuff her. Jesse nodded and smiled at her just as a delivery bot had his pizza, his stomach rumbled just then. "Just in time bobby how are you doing." the kid nodded and took the money and tip leaving the pizza and soda.
Jesse took a seat after grabbing some plates and napkins, he opened the pizza and took in the smell of cheese letting it waft through his senses. Jesse looked at Sloan and nodded towards the pizza, "Have you eaten yet?"

Sloan's mouth dropped as the officer cuffed her. She hated handcuffs more than a lot of things. After being in them so many times she had developed a certain disdain for them.
"You can't arrest me for not helping you!" She exclaimed and hit the officer behind her, right in the delicates. Fuck she thought to herself, she could get arrested for that.
"My arm twitched." She said with a shrug and a smile.
