Jesse texted Avery the other day asking her too meet up with him just to catch up. So he chose the diner he figured it was a common place with people and so she wouldn't feel uncomfortable being around him. He wore jeans and a black tee shirt with his leather jacket over top it had gotten chilly out since the rain storm the other night. Jesse sat down at a booth in the back and ordered a water while he waited for Avery to show up.
Jesse had been trying to talk to all of Abby's friends starting with the one's closet to her which were Tiff, Siena and Avery so far he got no where he trusted siena which didn't come easy for him but he believed she was not keeping anything from him. Tiff on the other hand he was not sure about he had a feeling she was holding back so now it was Avery's turn.

(I'm Not A Princess)(This ain't a fairytale) To say that Avery was nervous about meeting up with Jesse Hollows was an understatement. As soon as she had read that text she had wanted to say no, because she was afraid of what kind of things he was going to ask her. Sure it could be simple things, however he had the feeling it was more then likely to be much more serious than something that she could think of. He had to know that there were some things she could never tell him about Abby, some things he had promised to never tell a soul.
So while getting ready that afternoon she thought about it all, was it possible that he knew more about Abby then she thought. While getting dressed she tried to keep in mind that this was nothing to be worried about, that she didn't have to worry about meeting a friends brother to discuss them. Taking another look at herself in the mirror she sighed. Some how she had subconsciously picked an outfit that Abby had bought her on one of their shopping trips. Sitting on her bed she pulled on the only heels she ever liked to wear, a pair that Abby had also helped her pick out and then stood again. Before leaving her room she clipped on her 'A' necklace, and grabbed a sweater. She knew it was getting chilly out, and she didn't want to take any chances in getting sick.
She drove to the diner, parked her car, and got out pulling the sweater closer around her body. Her phone was in her pocket, a text she had received from Abby still saved in the inbox. Should she bring that up or was that to freaky? Seeing Jesse she hurried over to where he sat and instantly slid into the seat across from him. "Sorry if I'm late," she said tucking her hair behind her ears. "How are you?" Jesse looked up from the booth when he heard the door open he saw someone walk in he noticed the hair and the smile it was Avery. "Its ok I just got here about five minutes ago myself so your good. How are you Avery?"
Jesse asked he was not sure what to say he remembered Avery being the quiet one of his sister's friends or he might have mixed that up. He smiled at her when the waitress came over with his glass of water. "I hope you don't mind I was not sure if you were actually going to show so I ordered a glass of water while I waited."
The waitress asked her what she wanted to start off with for a drink. Jesse sat there watching her she grew up quite well herself he liked her outfit it did wonders for her figure.

(I'm Not A Princess)(This ain't a fairytale) She smiled when he looked up and nodded when he spoke. "Good, I hate making other people wait. I'm doing okay." As she sat she fiddled with her bracelets out of nervous. For a moment she considered pulling out her phone and showing him the text she had gotten, however she then thought better of it.
When the waitress came by with his water she smiled lightly "Of course I don't mind, can't have you dehydrating. I always keep my word though, I wasn't going to back out." Keeping her word was part of the reason that she hadn't told any of Abby's secrets. She had sworn that she wouldn't ever tell anyone they were Abby's secrets to give out when, and if, she ever felt the need. If it turned out that Abby was never coming home then her secrets would never be told.
Glancing briefly at the menu when asked what she wanted she simply ordered a lemonade. Normally she wasn't a big water person, flavored water she would do, but she couldn't stand plain water. Today she figured she would be to nervous to put any carbonated beverages into her stomach.
