Mikaela Vanderbilt was exhausted. It had been a crazy twenty-four hours, to say the very least. Another long day of summer classes, followed by incredibly intense dance lessons and recital practices, followed by a late night dinner with her dancing agent. It was hard to handle such a busy lifestyle, and honestly, it was incredibly draining. And tonight, she couldn't handle the thought of going home alone to her apartment. So instead, she took her perfectly ready self to her favourite bar and pulled up a stool among the other regulars, fully prepared to blow off some steam and have some fun.
Mikaela loved to escape to this place, where no one knew her as some pretty little girl, but just as a talkative, over the top, wild girl that could hold her liquor with the best of them. The bartender greeted her in a friendly manner and with a wink, returned with a bottle of beer. Cold. Her usual. It wasn't long until the bar had turned from a quiet atmosphere into a bubbling hub of energy. The jukebox, which only seemed to see life when Mikaela was around, played all kinds of rock classics that she couldn't help but tap her foot to. As she sat at the bar, she could eye a few men leering and staring, but she ignored them. As long as they didn't give her any trouble, they could stare all they wanted. Taking a sip of her beer, the cold liquid burning her throat, Mikaela turned an eye towards the door, trying to see if anyone of interest would walk into the bar. After all, the girl was always on the prowl.
