[/size]Two months had passed since Abigail had gone missing. Two months, that went by painfully slow, with Abby's face everywhere, news of her missing was always everywhere. Until the only place Lucy could escape her sister was her room, and even there memories haunted her in her sleep. Until the dreams turned to nightmares, awful nightmares. Nightmares filled with screams, and with sites of her sister, calling her name, dreams where she chased her sister, until she couldn't move anymore, and yet she never got any closer to Abby.
The nightmares had been haunting her for a while, she Lucy decided she wasn't going to deal with it anymore. Sleep wasn't required for her to work not in her mind. So she'd made a habit, of coming to the coffee bean, every day just before closing around ten thirty. She was there enough she was sure the owner was thinking about giving her a key to the place. Today Lucy had gone farther away from the store than she'd thought, and now it was past ten thirty and nearing elven. When she'd looked at her watch, she'd run here as fast as she could, and spent five minutes banging on the window but they were gone and she was going to have to spend a night with her nightmares.
Upset, Lucy moved around the store to the alley next to it, where she leaned against the wall, and slid down until she was sitting on the ground, her knees hugged tight to her, while tears fell down her cheeks, and she tried to hold back from sobbing but little gasping breaths came out, as she closed her eyes and leaned her head back against the wall, there was no point in trying not to cry she'd learned that in the past two months, she just had to let it out when it came she just had to cry in the dark, alone, in an alley.
Open.
