Golf was a useless pastime, not to mention utterly boring. She was only here for a pool, considering that her little brothers were too busy playing pirate in hers. Plus, she was supposed to be in college, which meant NOT AT HOME. Why her loser parents decided to keep her close to home was beyond her. It wasn't like they were close.

She tucked her earphones in and laid out on a lawn chair. Her thoughts didn't even turn to to Lyndsey, the poor Catholic girl she had ruined a few days before. She'd get over it. Veronica was already trying to plot her next attack. She figured she owed little Lucy another visit, but not after getting with Declan to break her down.... Declan was stupid too, just another pawn in her game. But she knew his manipulation and seductive skills were equal to her own, so who was playing whose game? She wasn't sure, but she was determined to come out on top.

It was the perfect day for a round of golf, or so Declans father had thought it was, hense was the boy was dressed in silly, typical golf clothes minus the flat cap of course. The biy hated it, the game was, well bearable if hadn't been for the vulgar clothing. Well that and the company, his dad was down for the weekend with some business partners and he had insisted his son come along too. Sure Dec wasn't quite the shining example but his golf skills were something his father liked to take pride in. Unfortunatly, Declan was a natural and his father loved to show him off.

He was just on his way back in, ready to change when he cast eyes on an all too familiar face and couldn't help but go over and say a friendly hello. "Oh look who it isn't" He said as he sat down and pulled the earphone from Veronicas ear closest to him. Thankfully his father was too busy bragging about his and Declans scores to notice he had left his son behind.

Veronica felt someone pull out her earphone, which she had turned up to purposely tune out people she didn't want to hear. But she recognized the voice right away. She didn't even look up. "Ah, Declan, love the getup." She said eyeing him out of the corner of her eyes. "Did you lose a bet?" She teased lightly, knowing full well he was here to play golf. His dad was probably showing him off again. Given their love hate relationship--more like lust hate-- she did know a few things about him. She also knew he looked gay right now. Not like she had anything against gay, considering she was bisexual. Point was, he was straight, and she thought he looked gay and was half tempted to pay a pool boy to flirt with him

She resettled and put her headphone back in, turning down the volume of course so she could hear what he had to say.

golf gear wasn't exactly Declans favorite atire but he personally thought he pulled it off. whether it made him look gay or not, girls and guys a-like couldn't help but check out his ass in those fitted chinos and though he was straight any attention was good attention. He was just comfertable with his sexuality.

The boys eyes rolled around in his head when she commented on his clothing, "Wish I could say the same to you" he said pulling a face at her bathing suit though checking her out as he did. It would just be idiotic to try to act like he didn't find her attractive, it was her fire that really got him though, the reason he came back for more, he hated her and couldn't have a civil conversation with her but hell she was hot. "No, actually, I just won one, and a grand. Apparently I don't look as good as I play" He bragged. He couldn't care less about the money, he just loved the winning part.

Veronica laughed. "Please, you would say that even if you lost, because God forbid you should lose." She said putting a hand to her forehead in mock desperation. Ronnie completely skipped over his comment about her suit, she knew he liked what he saw. Sure they were the same in many ways, they liked to win, liked to be admired, like to ruin and manipulate. For some reason though, unless they were having sex, they couldn't get along. Probably because neither would give in to the other.

She shook her head, her dark hair flying gently. "If your in a betting mood though, I'll make a bet with you." Not like she had any idea what to bet, or what the stakes should be, but it would be an amusing enterprise. Besides, he'd probably know what he wanted to bet.

Declan laughed a little "Yeah, like we'd actually know what I'd do if I ever lost." Decland made a point of not doing things he wasn't sure he would win, like he didn't play pool because he sucked at it but he played poker because he was so good at bluffing and even bettter at reading people and so on. "But come on, you can hardly talk, your just ask bad" He said leaning back on the chair next to her as if making it clear he had no intention of moving anytime soon, she was stuck with him.

A cheeky smirk slid across his face when she raised the idea of a bet up. Of course he was in the mood to bet, when wasn't he? "Any idea what on or is that head of yours just too full of scams and sceams to think of anything?" He teased. He could have killed for a smoke right there but of course there was no smoking and he couldn't be bothered moving or getting kicked out.

Veronica chuckled dryly. he was right though. She didn't like to lose either, and like him, she kept up the facade that she never had before. "True." Was all she said, making sure to pout her lips in a pretty manner as she made the 'ue' sound.

His next comment earned a really laugh and she turned to look at him. "I destroyed a little Baptist girl the other day. You would have loved it." She said, purposefully not giving him the details. How Veronica had faked multiple personalities, one crazy Catholic and one of herself. Getting her drunk and flirting with her. Fabulous. Being bi was so much more fun.

"So I'd say I've done my brilliant bit, why don't you surprise me?" She offered. he'd think of a good one. And if it ended with her in his bed, well then, so be it. She'd enjoy that. He would too, and he knew it.

Veronica was just trying to get him to ask what she had done to the poor girl and he wanted to ask, he was overly curious but he wasn't going to play into her hand even on the smallest thing, she would linger on the tiniest of victories. "I'm sure I would have" he said flatly acting like he wasn't that interested.

He sat and thought for a moment, interuptted by a waiter asking if he wanted a drink, he ordered a corona and as the guy walked away he had the answer. "I bet you I can pull him before you do" the guys name was Dean and it was well known he was bi. Of course by pull Declan meant have the guy agree to go home with one them but he would never actually get to Dec's he was straight but he could play gay very convincingly up to a point.

Veronica knew better than to believe his disinterested voice. they were actors, she knew, he knew it, pretending didn't work that much. Then again, she hardly knew what was truth and what was a lie anymore. When the waiter came over and Declan ordered drinks she smirked at his request. "Okay, what are the stakes?" She said changing her posture on her chair, more legs, more chest. Veronica pulled the suit a little to make sure it showed off her best.

Sure the guy was bi, and so was she, that might be an advantage in this case. Maybe. It was worth the try. Veronica was pretty good at getting guys, but she didn't doubt Declan's gay act.

The fact that Declan was new in town was always an advantage in these situations, he couldn't be accused of being a liar because no one here knew anything about him, how was Dean to know that Declan didn't swing his way, he was justing being a tease? The only thing would be Veronica telling him but that was against the rules. He was pretty sure he'd just play the gay card, trying to be bi took more effort when you weren't.

"I don't know, you can think of that while I go and get changed" he said with a wink, his back was to the bar that the guy was walking back from so he couldn't have seen. What he did get to see, and Declan had planned it, was his pretty little derierh. He knew he was leaving her and the target to get a head start but he'd already made his mark being subtle flirty when he'd ordered the drinks.

Hm, what were good stakes for this sort of thing. Of course, there was always the sex the winner would probably have with Dean, but that wasn't really much fun. They could do the overused but always fun 'slave for a day' routine... Veronica pursed her pretty lips together for a moment, but then Dean was back. "Thank you Dean," She said with a smile, making sure to really use her lips. Guys loved looking at your lips if you knew how to use them.

"Oh, he'll be right back," she said nodding to the chair Declan had been sitting in. "Unfortunately." She had to make sure Dean didn't think they were a couple, and she'd never help Declan by telling Dean the straight boy was gay.

"He's a bit of a bore, not to mention he told me this suit wasn't flattering, what do you think?" She asked, batting her eyes and making sure he was getting as an eyeful as he instinctively checked her out.

It wasn't long before Declan came back in a pair of board shorts tied lower than necisary showing off his well toned and bronzed body. It was odd how normal it was for him to agree to this bet, he was so far from gay it was unreal but he just played the part so well even the people that knew he wasn't could sometimes believe it.

"Hey" Declan smiled ignoring Veronica as he walked over and took his seat again walking straight through Dean's stare at the girl and breaking it. He had too much eye candy to choose from he couldn't decide which to look at but he couldn't just ignore Veronica's question.

"No, you look amazing in it." He said hesertantly, "I mean, it's definatly not unflattering" he was torn, he didn't want to be openly flirty with her and ruin a chance with Declan in the same way he didn't want to be too nice with Dec and ruin a chance with her. If he had one with either.

Declan decided to jump in at this point "Oh let me guess, she was whining that I don't like, 'that'" he said pointing to the swim suit "It's just not really my... thing" he continued and gave the guy and obvious look over as if to say he on the other hand was.

Veronica silently wondered if they should team up. Sure, Declan wasn't bi... but since Dean was, he probably wouldn't mind having a threesome with a girl, and looking at a guy....Then again, Declan was pretending to be gay, and he'd never take it that far.... Either way, she didn't have time to confer with her so called partner in crime, or, enemy? Whichever. "He thinks its alright." She said crossing her arms on her chest, they acted like a shelf for her boobs.

"And just because you're not into girls, doesn't mean you have to be mean," Veronica added. Mean, ha, what a whiney middle school word. She could see Dean was torn by all the sudden attention and she had to hide a little smile. Poor boy.

Pouting was much more adorable than grinning, and what boy could resist a girl in distress?

Declan rolled his eyes, playing the demsel in distress, pfft. He glanced at her from the corner of his eye before looking back at Dean "I wasn't mean, I'm just not into the multi-colour thing you've got going on, I'm entitled to an opinion aren't I?" Talking about clothes, that was very camp, it was in his opinion anyway.

Dean on the other hand was having some problems not staring at her breasts just stack up like that, it wasn't exactly the nicest thing to do in a regular situati0n never mind when you were stuck between two hotties.

"Besides, if I remember rightly you made a comment on what I was wearing that was much more insulting but you dont see me whining like a little bitch" he said consideratly still with that white smile on his lips. "I mean, I thought I looked alright untill her. What did you think of my golf gear?" he asked with a smug smirk turning so his back was as much to Veronica as possible like he was trying to push her out of the conversation as he took a swig of his corona.

Veronica said nothing. If Dean had noticed his golf uniform, then Declan really had gotten the head start. She was sort of at a loss for where to go with is, not to mention, they hadn't set up a bet before they got to work. Maybe Dean would leave and come back and give them a second. Too soon to ask for another drink.... Veronica sipped her quietly and rolled her eyes.

"I didn't say anything was wrong with it..." She said, about to add that it was simply unflattering, but that's exactly what she'd said that he said... oof.

Veronica debated for a moment and then stood up. "Excuse me boys, its getting a little warm, I'm gonna jump in for a sec." And with that, she went to the edge of the pool, making sure to give Dean a good view of her ass. The water would make her suit cling to her, which would be great, but she had to give them a little time alone to be believable.
