Siena was sitting in the bakery with a book, a croissant, and an espresso. After going to her mother's grave she always went to the bakery. France had been a place dear to her heart. She and her mother would always go there on vacation. She missed it. She hated been to her house in Paris in years, in fact, not since her mother died. She missed it and she wanted to go back but she knew if she did she'd have to deal with her mother not being there.
Now with Abby gone, things were just getting hard again. Everyone saying she was dead, she didn't like it. She didn't want to believe that her best friend was gone. that she'd never be able to hear Abby's contagious laugh again, or see her abnormally perfect smile.

WEARINGAvery had spent the day with her Aunt unwinding and talking, just enjoying the day. However then she had run into her cousin Ralph and had to excuse herself quickly waving a soft good by to her aunt and nearly running to her car. It was crazy to think that to this day Avery still lost control when she was around her cousin. Nearly five years had gone by since she had found the truth about herself, and yet she couldn't face up to her cousin. Now however it didn't matter, because she was headed home and she wasn't going to think about it. On the way back to her parents house she found she was hungry, she wanted food and she wanted a Hot Chocolate. It was a random urge but then she had never been a very normal girl. So she pulled into a parking space and got out. Grabbing her purse she shut the door and locked it tightly before walking inside. At first she didn't take anything in, she just ordered her Hot Chocolate and a blueberry muffin and waited. However when she got her order she turned to go and find somewhere to sit and instantly froze. Sienna Montgomery sat at a table. At first Avery thought about pretending she hadn't seen the other girl, however she quickly shook that off. Taking a deep breath she took her things and sat down across from Sienna setting her phone onto the table and leaning onto her elbows. "Hey Sienna how are you?" she said lightly. Avery was very concerned for the friends of Abigail, sure they all probably hated that Avery had been told so much about their friend from her very own mouth, but that didn't mean she couldn't be worried about how they were holding up.

Siena looked up to see Avery sitting in front of her. She'd never known Avery well, but she had nothing against. Tiffany had always just kept Siena away from her. Said she was a different species. Then again, Tiffany was just a bitch.
"I'm... I've been better." She said honestly, putting her book down. She'd read Harry Potter a fair amount already. How've you been holding up?"" She asked with a small smile. She knew Avery and Abby were very close.

WEARINGAvery noted that Sienna had been reading Harry Potter, one of those books that used to make you a dork for reading until they came out with the movies. Honestly Avery was a fan she had read them all about a million times. She shook her head slightly, she had to stop thinking about things that didn't matter while trying to hold a conversation. It was a bad habit she had, one Abby used to laugh at. "I hope they aren't bothering you too much about this," she said nearly in a whisper. Sienna was nice enough, Avery didn't know her too well, Tiffany made sure of that, but she had heard of Sienna's kindness. She chewed on her bottom lip lightly before answering "It's weird, feels like suddenly people know who I am. Like Abby vanishing into thin air makes people see me. I wish she'd come back already." Avery was one of those people who refused to believe that Abby might be dead. She hated to think that Abigail Hollows was never coming back.

Siena hadn't been bugged about Abby's death at all. the wasn't a suspect. The police had spoken to her once and that was it. She wished they'd do something to find Abby already. She missed her more than she ever though she would.
"She'll be back before we know it." She said with a smile, taking Avery's hand lightly and giving it a little squeeze. Siena had a naive heart. She loved everyone, believed in everyone. It was endearing and stupid beyond all belief. She just always tried to see the good in things. Being sad wasn't her thing. Always smiling, that's why Abby had started calling her smiley before they even got to be friends.

WEARINGEven though Avery had barely even spoken to Sienna she already liked the girl. Maybe it was her smile, or the fact that she seemed to believe that Abby would come home as well. So Avery wasn't the only person who didn't think that Abby was dead, or wouldn't think that she was dead anyway. The world just wouldn't be right without Abby in it, it would be dark and dismal and she couldn't handle that. Everything was strange enough with her missing, Avery couldn't imagine what would happen if it came out that the girl was in fact dead. "I hope so," Avery responded lightly. She wanted to trust Sienna, she really did, and she was pretty sure she could. Was it possible that this girl across from her, now gripping her hand, had something to do with where Abby had gone? Avery doubted that, she looked to sweet as apple pie to ever be involved in something like that. Then again, nothing was as it seemed in this town. "I can't even imagine how her family is holding up." As she spoke she toyed with her 'A' necklace, it had been a gift for her last birthday. She never took it off now.

Siena remembered the necklace Avery was playing with. Abby had asked for her help in picking one out. Siena thought it was for Abby. Turns out, Avery was more important to Abby then Siena even knew. That fact upset her a little. How could she not know that about her best friend?
"I haven't been over there in a while. Too hard," she said, her throat getting dry. She'd avoided all of the Hollows. She couldn't look at them without seeing Abby's face. It wasn't that she didn't care, she wanted to know how they were doing. The girl just couldn't deal with the pain of seeing them. It was hard enough just going out of the house still. Everywhere she went there was a memory of Abby.

WEARINGAvery saw Sienna looking at the necklace and she instantly dropped it back down to her neck. It had been from Abby, which had completely thrown Avery for a loop. The girl had still thought that this was all some prank at that time, that soon the popular girls could come out and tell her she was an idiot. Opening that necklace up she had realized that Abby really did like her, and that they really were friends, it had been an amazing realization. "Right, I'm sure anyone in your situation would," Avery said as she picked at her muffing lightly. She had seen the Hollows around since the disappearance but she hadn't gotten the chance to talk to any of them. In fact she wasn't even sure if any of them wanted to talk to her. She didn't actually blame them for trying to shut some of the people who had been closest to their daughter out, it was a constant reminder of who they'd lost.

Siena laughed lightly when Avery stopped playing with the necklace. She hadn't said anything. It wasn't like the girl had to be conscious about the necklace. Avery was Abby's friend, so as far as Siena was concerned, she was her friend too.
"I remember when Abby got that necklace. We'd spent the whole day running around looking for the perfect one. It's hard to run in high heels." She said with a small laugh. The girl was special to Abby, Siena wished she would have know. She would've rather hung out with Avery then Tiffany.

WEARINGThe other girls laugh had Avery calming down, obviously she had reacted in a silly manner for the situation and she hadn't needed to react that way. She found herself wondering why she had never tried to talk to Siena before. The girl was clearly really nice, at least nicer then Tiffany seemed to be. They probably could have been friends. "Really? Well it's perfect, and sorry to hear you had to run in heels. Abby was like that though, had to get every where quickly. She probably thought if she wasn't going fast enough the best gift would be gone." Avery could remember being dragged along to show with Abby. It had been Abigail who made Avery realize that she needed to have a big of a fashion sense. Avery had been hopeless until then. "Shopping with Abby was an adventure."

Siena laughed lightly. Shopping with Abby, it was an adventure, but a fun one. She'd try on ridiculous things just to make Siena laugh when she was having an off day. Abby would do anything for anyone when it came down to it.
"That it was." She said with a smile, thinking of her missing best friend. The hardest thing was not knowing. She had so many questions that she wanted answered and no one seemed able to answer them for her.

WEARINGAs they sat there Avery thought about the things she knew about Abigail. Was it possible that Siena knew as well? Avery just wanted one person she could confide in, get some of the things she was feeling off her chest. However she knew she never could, because that would be a betrayal of her friends trust. Besides that if she did mention it and Siena had no clue that would just make things more awkward and more strange. After all how would a person react to finding out their best friend was telling some loser all her secrets? Avery knew she wouldn't have liked it much. "I'm sorry you know all that already, you're Abby's best friend after all," she said this with a smile on her face. Abigail was the kind of girl who liked to see others happy, it made sense that she would be close to Siena. The brunette had a way of lighting up a heart, even if they were talking about their friend, who might never come home to them.

"Yeah," Siena said, unsure of it all know. She hadn't even known how close Abby was to Avery. What else didn't she know about the girl that had called Siena her best friend. She said there was no secrets between them. Apparently Abby wasn't telling Siena everything. It made her angry and upset, then again its not like she could complain. She hadn't told Abby everything either. She wished she could now, say sorry.

WEARING"You know she used to mention you when we would talk," Avery said lightly "It's kind of the reason I decided to sit down here and talk to you. Abby liked you, said you were nice. I always trusted her judgement in people." It was true, she could remember shopping with Abby and hearing the other girl go 'I think Siena would love this!' or 'Siena is a very sweet girl, you'd like her.'. Although Avery wasn't going anywhere near Tiffany just to talk to a nice girl, because she knew the kind of girl that Tiffany was, and she didn't trust the blonde.

"Yeah, Abby talked about you too." Siena said with a smile. Abby talked about the girl but Tiffany always had some smart ass comment. Some times Siena wondered why Abby ever put up with Tiffany. Probably cause they'd been friends for so long. Still, sometimes you just had to get rid of the bad things. Just simply throw out the trash when it was necessary.
